Faay wall and ceiling solutions |
We are exclusive UK distributors of Faay BV non-load bearing partitions, walls and ceilings. This eco-friendly range is primarily constructed from the waste products of flax, paper, linseed oil and plasterboard. Full height partitions are a robust and flexible solution for dividing up space whilst insulated walls and ceilings offer excellent soundproofing and thermal properties. Wall and ceiling panels are light, easy and quick to assemble. Partitions are supplied with electrical and/or data communication cable ducts as standard. All products fully comply with UK construction regulations.
Insulated walls are cavity filled with stone wool which offers a high degree of soundproofing and stability providing ideal for offices, homes, schools etc. Walls offer fire resistance of 75 – 82 minutes, sound insulation from 6 - 9 Db and thermal insulation of 1.25 mē KW upto 2.17 mē KW.
Faay Ceilings are manufactured from mineral fibre and use a unique assembly system which is easy to assemble, has a free span which prevents contact noise with the upper floor and offers the option of fitting the ceiling close beneath the joisting. The system is suitable for renovation, new build and utility sectors where access to the ceiling is required from above. Ceilings offer fire resistance of 70 – 75 minutes, sound insulation of +3 Db and thermal insulation of 1.96 mē KW upto 1.98 mē KW.
