Silka Large Format Calcium Silicate Blocks

Calcium Silicate blocks have been widely used on the continent for several decades and make construction quick, efficient and extremely cost-effective.

The large format blocks are made to order throughout Europe by German manufacturer Xella, the world’s largest block manufacturer, and cut to size from your architect’s drawings. They’re quick and easy to assemble, using a thin-bed mortar, with no need for intensive labour and you can use them as both load-bearing and partition walls.

Then all you have to do is spray on a thin plaster skim of just 2-3 mm and you’re virtually done.
